EDITING SERVICES
Developmental and Structural Editing
Here I focus on substantive analysis as a whole and consider your objectives as a writer. Developmental editing looks at the concept, genre, plot coherence, and developmental arc. Structural editing identifies issues with themes, pacing, setting, characters and voice.
Style and Line Editing
Here the focus is on content, style and tone, line-by-line, to help make your words as consistent and effective as possible. This involves a close read of the work to improve clarity and flow.
Proofreading and Copyediting
Here the focus is a final revision of the manuscript or copy, correcting typos, spelling and grammatical errors. Copyediting improves what the author writes. Proofreading ensures nothing is missed, to make the writing as readable and error-free as possible.
Depending on your project, you may require a combination of these services.
